Definition
Capacity booking lets a salon accept, for example, two haircuts at 4pm when two stylists are on shift, without treating either as a double booking. The capacity number represents how many customers the salon can serve in parallel.
Why it matters
Small salons rarely need full per-staff scheduling. Capacity booking captures parallel utilisation without adding the overhead of managing individual stylist calendars.
