Definition
QR booking places a QR code at the reception, on the mirror, or on business cards. Customers scan it with a phone camera and land on the same booking page they'd reach through your Instagram bio.
Why it matters
It converts walk-ins who arrive during a full day into booked future appointments without staff having to type anything into a diary.
Common misconceptions
| Common claim | Reality |
|---|---|
| QR codes require a special app. | Every modern smartphone camera scans QR codes natively. No app installation needed. |
How Appointly handles this
Appointly's booking link works as a QR code — print it, put it at reception, and walk-ins can rebook themselves.
